On 23 February, 2023, Mr. Xiaochun Liu, Executive Chairman of SCIAHK, President of SCIA, were invited to lead a delegation to visit the Hong Kong Bar Association, had in-depth exchanges with Mr. Victor Dawes, SC, Chairman of the Association; Mr. José-Antonio Maurellet, SC, Vice Chairman of the Association; Ms. Kim Rooney, Chairman of Arbitration Committees; Mr. Nip Norman S.P., SC, Vice Chairman of Arbitration Committees; Mr. David S.M. Fong, Vice Chairman of Arbitration Committees; Ms. Sabrina S.Y. Ho, Secretary of Standing Committee of Mainland Affairs, etc. The parties reviewed the accomplishments of international arbitration exchanges and cooperation in the Greater Bay Area in the past 40 years and reached a consensus on the next step for closer cooperation.
At the same time, SCIAHK and SCIA were also invited to visit Des Voeux Chambers, and exchanged views with Mr. William M.F. Wong, SC, Mr. Anson Wong, SC, Mr. Richard Leung, and Mr. Chun Wai Ling, etc.
