On September 26, 2019, as confirmed by the Supreme People's Court and the Department of Justice of Hong Kong SAR Government, SCIAHK was included in the list of qualified arbitral institutions under the Arrangement Concerning Mutual Assistance in Court-ordered Interim Measures in Aid of Arbitral Proceedings (the “Interim Measures Arrangement”) and operates as a Hong Kong arbitral institution.

South China International Arbitration Center (HK) headquartered on 57/F of Two ifc, the core area of legal and financial services in Hong Kong. It aims to offer the world-class hearing facilities and practice facilitation to parties from the world.
SCIAHK is governed by its Board of Directors (the “Board”) which is largely composed of prominent Hong Kong-based practitioners and leading professionals from all over the world. The Board is concerned with the decision making and development of SCIAHK and three standing committees operate under the auspices of the Board: They are Rules Making Committee, Selection and Appointment Committee and Development Committee. These committees deal with matters concerning the functions entrusted to SCIAHK under its articles of association and dispute resolution rules.
Daily operation, case management and related administrative matters of SCIAHK are entrusted with the Secretariat, whose members are appointed by and subject to the Board’s supervision.
