SCIAHK and SCIA held arbitrator training and rules roadshow in the Netherlands

     On 2 June 2023, South China International Arbitration Center HK (SCIAHK) joined the delegation of the Guangdong Province Law Society and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) led by Dr. YUAN Gujie in visiting Chinese companies which invested in the Netherlands and explored the situation of companies operating overseas and the use of international legal rules on the protection of legitimate rights and interests.

     During the visit to the Netherlands, SCIAHK and SCIA held a roadshow on arbitration rules at the Erasmus China Law Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and explained the Arbitration Rules of SCIAHK and SCIA to the representatives of arbitrators from the Netherlands respectively. During the roadshow, SCIAHK and SCIA introduced the latest development of international arbitration in China, in particular to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and discussed the new mechanisms for international arbitration on cross-border cooperation to promote the resolution of cross-border commercial disputes through international arbitration, with a view to jointly enhancing high-quality development of China-EU economic and trade cooperation.
