On 25 May 2023, the South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK) attended Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre (AALCO-HKRAC) Establishment Anniversary & MOU Signing Ceremony. Mr. Anthony Neoh, Chairman of the Board of SCIAHK, and Mr. Huen Wong, Executive Chairman of SCIAHK were invited to attend the event. Mr. Huen Wong and Mr. Nick Chan, Director of AALCO-HKRAC, jointly signed the MOU on behalf of the two institutions.
According to the MOU, SCIAHK and AALCO-HKRAC will cooperate closely in resource sharing, communication, information exchange, promotion and capacity building, etc., to provide impartial, efficient and flexible arbitration, mediation and other diversified dispute resolution solutions for parties from different jurisdictions, continue to develop the cross-border cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and jointly promote the growth and effective functions of arbitral institutions to build the global hub for international arbitration.
