Xinjiang Lawyers’ Association Visits SCIAHK

         On 19 September 2023, Dr. GENG Baojian, President of the Xinjiang Lawyers' Association along with his delegation, Xinjiang Lawyers' Association's Greater Bay Area foreign-related legal services visiting and exchange group, was received by the South China International Arbitration Center (Hong Kong) (SCIAHK) and the both sides discussed cooperation on dispute resolution services on the “Belt and Road.” Mr. Huen WONG, Executive Chairman of SCIAHK and Council Member of SCIA, Mr. DONG Lianhe, Vice President of SCIA, Mr. LI Xiongfeng, Vice Secretary-General of SCIAHK, also attended the meeting.  During the meeting, both sides discussed the recent development of the hybrid mode of SCIAHK and SCIA as "Twin Cities, Two Centers" with a view to jointly promote legal services and cooperation between China and Central Asia , West Asia , South Asia  and countries in other regions. Safeguarded by the rule of law, several consensuses were reached on ensuring high-quality economic development  and high-standard of opening-up.
