SCIAHK and SCIA held rules roadshow and arbitrator training in Italy

     During 28 and 31 May 2023, the South China International Arbitration Center (Hong Kong) (SCIAHK) and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) successively held roadshows on arbitration rules in Milano, Italy and Rome and explained the Arbitration Rules of SCIAHK and SCIA, i.e. "Twin Cities, Two Centers" to the arbitrators and business representatives from Europe. SCIAHK and SCIA also introduced the latest developments of international arbitration in China, in particular to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with a view to promoting high-quality development of China-EU economic and trade cooperation through high-quality international arbitration. Representatives of enterprises, arbitration and lawyers from Rome, Milan, Florence, Bologna, and other places in Italy conducted in-depth discussion on the innovation and development of the international commercial dispute resolution mechanism.

   During the visit to Italy, SCIAHK joined the delegation of the Guangdong Province Law Society and the SCIA led by Dr. YUAN Gujie, President of the Guangdong Province Law Society, visited the Milan Bar Association and some Chinese enterprises which invested in Italy and discussed the legal protection of legal rights and interests of overseas investment.
