Minister of Justice and Human Rights of Guinea-Bissau, Carlos Pereira, Visits SCIAHK

     On 14 May 2026, Mr. Carlos Pinto Pereira, Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, visited the South China International Arbitration Center (Hong Kong) (“SCIAHK”) and held discussions with Mr. Huen Wong, Executive Chairman of SCIAHK and Council Member of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao GBA International Arbitration Center) (“SCIA”). The parties exchanged views on cooperation between SCIA and SCIAHK under the “Twin Cities, Two Centers” framework and Africa in the field of arbitration, as well as on further strengthening exchanges in legal services.

     Mr. Bruno Nunes and Mr. Alfred Wu Man-Tsuen, arbitrators of SCIA and SCIAHK, representatives from the Embassy of Guinea-Bissau in China, and members of the SCIAHK Secretariat also attended the meeting.
