SCIAHK invited to Foshan Lawyers Association's "Hong Kong-seated arbitration for Hong Kong-invested enterprises" Salon

     On 29 April 2026, South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK) was invited to Foshan Lawyers Association’s "Hong Kong-seated arbitration for Hong Kong-invested enterprises" Salon.

     SCIAHK Secretary-General Li Xiongfeng delivered a keynote speech that covered the policy background and practice of the "Hong Kong-seated arbitration for Hong Kong-invested enterprises". Through the first “Hong Kong-seated arbitration for Hong Kong-invested enterprises” arbitration case administered by SCIAHK, Mr. Li presented advantages of Hong Kong-seated arbitration, and the key points of the "Interim Measures Arrangement".

     In the subsequent roundtable discussion, Siegfried Sin, SCIAHK Head of Business Development, Eviana Leung, Partner of Leung Eviana & Partners, and Robert Sit, Partner of Forbes Hare Solicitors, discussed how Foshan enterprises can utilize Hong Kong as the arbitration seat to better manage cross-border disputes, arbitration clause design in contracts, and how young Foshan practitioners can expand their foreign-related practice, providing clear practical guidance for the audience.
